Leadcom signs mobile deal in Ecuador

Leadcom will provide preventive maintenance for the operator.

Leadcom Integrated Solutions Ltd. (AIM: LEAD; TASE:LEAD) has won a $6.2 million two-year mobile radio network maintenance contact from an Ecuador telecommunications operator. Leadcom already maintains the operator's radio network. The company did not disclose the name of the customer.

Leadcom will provide preventive maintenance on call services and emergency call out services for all of the operator's telecommunications site support systems, generators, and air conditioning.

Leadcom Americas general manager Michael Keltai noted that the company beat the operator's current maintenance provider, "a major international telecommunications vendor", in the tender. He added, "As a new strategic win, it reinforces our ambitious plan to establish long term commercial relationships with operators throughout the region."

In a separate development, Leadcom announced that Rimon ZZ Management (2005) Ltd. reached a holding of 7.41% in the company.

Leadcom's share rose 11% on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) today to ₤0.03, giving a market cap of ₤3.7 million. The share was unchanged on the TASE at NIS 0.22.
