NICE adds VoIP recording to Cisco application

For banks, interaction in branch offices remains a primary interaction point with customers.

A NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) application will allow a new Cisco platform to record VoIP customer communications.

NICE announced that its enterprise branch VoIP recording is available on the Cisco Application eXtension Platform (AXP), which was introduced by Cisco. NICE explained that for the banking industry, even with new online or other electronic contact opportunities with customers, interaction in branch offices remains the primary interaction point. Accordingly, the quality of service provided by branches has become a major priority for the enterprise, making branch recording crucial for improving customer experience and ensuring customer loyalty. In addition, compliance with new financial regulations and risk management are also driving the need to record customer interactions at branch offices.

Nice's new solution represents a breakthrough for enterprise branches and distributed small contact centers that require recording of customer interactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, improving business efficiency and dispute management, as well as for enhancing the customer experience at the branch level.

The NICE solution enables enterprises to locally record customer interactions at thousands of branches NICE also announced that it joined the Cisco Technology Developer Program supporting the Cisco AXP.

NICE has over 24,000 customers in 100 countries, including over 85 of the Fortune 100 companies.

Shares in NICE closed at $29.71 in Nasdaq trading on Friday, down $0.02, or 0.07%. Its current market cap is $1.76 billion. In the past 52 weeks its shares have ranged from $24.90 to $40.95.
