It is suspected that a suicide bomber may have crossed into Israel from Egypt.
A suicide bomber detonated an explosive belt causing a strong explosion to rock the center of Dimona in southern Israel. The explosion occurred at about 10:30 this morning. One woman was killed.
The bomber also died in the explosion, while a second terrorist was shot by a police officer. The second terrorist planned to detonate his belt when large crowds and many first responders would be in the area, but was shot .
It is suspected that the open border between Israel and Egypt may have allowed the terrorist's entrance into Israel.
