Incredimail crashes on loss of Google AdSense collaboration

The share fell 40% on Nasdaq on Friday.

IncrediMail Ltd. (Nasdaq:MAIL: TASE:MAIL) announced on Friday that Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) was halting its collaboration with the company. In a laconic statement, Incredimail said that it had "received a notification that Google decided to stop the AdSense partnership with the company and therefore it is disabling ads to search result pages displayed through the company's account, and in addition that the company's AdSense account has been disabled."

Incredimail's share fell 30% on Nasdaq on Friday, and a further 9.6% in after-hours trading. There was no response in the share at the opening on the TASE today.

Incredimail noted, "In 2006 and 2007, search revenues powered by Google’s AdSense program made a significant contribution to the company’s results. The company is currently clarifying the matter with Google and simultaneously exploring alternative relationships, with Google and other vendors."
