Avaya Israel to set up new HOT center

HOT Cable Media’s new contact center will have 2,000 sales and service representatives at several sites across the country.

Avaya Israel Ltd. is setting up an IP-based contact center for Hot Cable Systems Media Ltd. (TASE: HOT), after winning a NIS 3 million tender. Avaya Israel said that this was considered the largest project of its kind in Israel. IT Navigator Ltd. will install the system and Netcom Ltd. will be the subcontractor responsible for setting up some components.

HOT’s new contact center will have 2,000 sales and service representatives at several sites across the country. The system is intended to substantially improve the company’s service following the merger of Israel’s three cable providers.

The contact center will enable service representatives to speak with customers via IP telephony and Internet chats. It will have an integrated voice recognition automatic router and voice mailbox that will enable customers to talk with the system, which will provide the necessary information in human sounding speech.
