Motorola Israel extends responsibility of CFO

New CFO Shimon Shahar will handle the financial affairs of both Motorola Israel’s plant in Arad and cellular operator subsidiary MIRS.

Motorola Israel is expanding the responsibility of its CFO following the restructuring of the company. New CFO Shimon Shahar will handle the financial affairs of both Motorola Israel’s plant in Arad and cellular operator subsidiary MIRS Communications Ltd.

Shahar has worked for Motorola Israel for 17 years, most recently as company controller. His previous responsibilities included accounts, audits, financial management of development, production and sales systems. Before joining Motorola Israel, he held senior positions at Tadiran. He has a BA in economics and MBA from Tel Aviv University.
