Royal Navy gets Israeli water

Tami4 will install 600 water dispensers at Royal Navy bases in a NIS 3.2 million contract.

Tana Industries Ltd. (colloquially known as Tami 4) has won a NIS 3.2 million Royal Navy contract to install 600 Tami4 UV water dispensers at bases in the UK.

In the past two years, Tami4 has installed its water dispensers at Wimbeldon, the Chelsea football club’s Stamford Bridge Stadium, the British Ministry of Defence, 200 Waterstone bookstores, Citibank’s London branch, and other customers in the UK through Tana Water UK.

Tami4 posted NIS 180 million revenue in 2006, including NIS 23 million in exports. The company aims to increase its exports by 50% this year.

Tami4 international marketing manager Doron Glass said that the company mainly operated in Western Europe, but also in Singapore and China. The company will soon launch activity in the US, after signing a contract with a distributor.
