Israeli investors to set up medical center in San Salvador

A group of Israeli investors headed by El Salvador honorary consul in Israel Dr. Menashe Rosenfeld will establish a medical center in El Salvador’s capital, San Salvador. Centro Medico Jerusalen will handle radiation therapies for cancer, dialysis, X-ray, MRI and other imaging, and will have trauma wards in four separate buildings on a five-acre site five kilometers from the city’s international airport.

The radiation therapies for cancer building will be built first at an investment of $15 million.

The initiative was unveiled during a visit to Israel by El Salvador Foreign Minister Francisco Lainez. During the visit, he met top Israeli entrepreneurs and businesspeople in order to promote Israeli investment in El Salvador.
