Tadiran Telecom wins $3m Kazakhstan project

The company will install four systems for Kazakh copper mining company Kazakhmys.

Tadiran Telecom Ltd. has won a $3 million contract with Kazakh copper mining company Kazakhmys plc (LSE:KAZ) to install four systems at the company’s headquarters and field sites. The project will be carried out next month. Tadiran Telecom is a subsidiary of Africa-Israel Investments Ltd. (TASE:AFIL; Pink Sheets:AFIVY).

Tadiran Telecom VP markets Zeev Aviv said, “We were able to execute this project thanks to our in-depth understanding and intimate knowledge of the Kazakh market and culture, with the help of our local partner. We’ve had a number of important successes in supplying communications solutions for a range of customers in the coal, metals, and diamond mining industries, especially in Russia and CIS states, China, and India.”
