Alon USA, Delek US to supply fuel for US military aircraft

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Alon Group subsidiary Alon USA Energy Inc. (NYSE:ALJ) and Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) subsidiary Delek US Holdings Inc. (NYSE:DK) last month won US Department of Defense tenders to supply to fuel for military aircraft in 2008. Alon USA will supply $138 million worth of fuel and Delek US will supply $31 million.

This is the second time that the two companies have won tenders to supply fuel to the US Army. Companies supplying fuel to the US military must comply with especially strict criteria, and becoming suppliers will help the two companies� participation in future tenders.

Alon USA and Delek US are due to close contracts in April and will begin deliveries in 2008. Both companies will supply fuel from their refineries in Texas.
