Police: Indict Israel Railways chief over accident

The police also recommend indicting other executives and the driver of the truck that caused the June 2006 accident that killed five.

The Israel Police recommends indicting Israel Railways general manager Ofer Linchevski and other executives over the truck-train accident at the Beit Yehoshua crossing in the Sharon in June 2006. The police also recommend indicting the driver of the truck.

Five people were killed and more than 70 injured in the accident.
