The value of gifts range from the token to NIS 1,400. The value of year�s gifts is up 11% on 2005.

Workers committees will distribute NIS 1.9 billion in Passover gifts this year, 11% more than last Passover.

Passover gifts distributor Marom FGP general manager Avi Marom said there was a 30% increase this year in gifts containing Made-in-Israel items. He attributed the increase to campaigns to encourage the inclusion of Made-in-Israel items launched after last summer�s second Lebanon war.

Marom said that holiday gift packages cost 20-30% less this year than in 2005, because of competition between Israeli companies. The value of gifts range from the token to NIS 1,400.
