Bank Hapoalim Switzerland to open Singapore branch

This will be the first branch of an Israeli bank in the Far East.

Bank Hapoalim Switzerland will open a branch in Singapore in May, the first branch of an Israeli bank in the Far East.

Bank Hapoalim Switzerland is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Hapoalim (LSE: BKHD; TASE: POLI). It specializes in private banking services, and has branches in Zurich, Geneva, and Luxembourg, and representative offices in Tel Aviv, Moscow, and Hong Kong. In January 2006, Bank Hapoalim merged Bank of New York - InterMaritime Bank Geneva, which it had acquired, into Bank Hapoalim Switzerland.
