Record fourth quarter revenue for Internet Gold

Fourth quarter pro forma profit rose 190% to NIS 16 million.

Eurocom Group subsidiary Internet Gold Golden Lines Ltd. (Nasdaq: IGLD; TASE:IGLD) today published its financial reports for the fourth quarter of 2006 and the year as a whole. Fourth quarter revenue rose 45% over the corresponding quarter of 2005 to a record NIS 117 million, and its pro forma profit rose 190% to NIS 16 million (NIS 0.86 per share).

The company’s fourth quarter net profit was NIS 6.1 million (NIS 0.33 per share), including a one-time non-cash expense was NIS 9.8 million relating to the merger of Smile Communications and 012 Golden Lines. The results of these two companies were not included in Internet Gold’s financials.

Internet Gold posted NIS 414 million revenue in 2006 as a whole, up 39% on 2005. Pro forma profit of NIS 39 million (NIS 2.10 per share) and the net profit was NIS 26.5 million (NIS 1.44 per share).
