Solel Boneh Building and Infrastructure Ltd. subsidiary Solel Boneh International Ltd. has won a contract to design and build a 94-megawatt hydroelectric plant in Guatemala for $95 million. The project will take two and half years.
Solel Boneh International will carry out civil engineering work, including construction of a diversion dam, a 700,000 cubic meter reservoir, digging a five-meter diameter five-km long tunnel, laying a four-meter diameter one-km. long water pipeline, and building a structure for the machinery.
Solel Boneh is a subsidiary of Housing and Construction Holding Co. Ltd. (Shikun u'Binui) (TASE: HUCN), controlled by Arison Holdings Ltd..
