Solel Boneh Int’l to pave Uganda road for $81m

Africa generated $700 million of the company's $900 million in projects in 2006.

Solel Boneh International Ltd. has won a Ugandan government $81 million tender to pave a 100-km stretch of road for over a three-year period. The road is a main traffic artery in southern Uganda. The African Development Bank will fully finance the project.

The Solel Boneh Building and Infrastructure Ltd. subsidiary continues to be a growth engine for Arison Holdings Ltd.’s subsidiary Housing and Construction Holding Co. Ltd. (Shikun u'Binui) (TASE: HUCN). African projects generate the bulk of Solel Boneh International’s revenue: $700 million of $900 million in projects in 2006.
