Ophir Optronics gets NIS 7.9m US contract

The order is a follow-on order to a previous contract worth NIS 19 million.

Ophir Optronics Ltd. (TASE: OPIR), which manufactures and markets electro-optic products, announced yesterday that its US subsidiary, Ophir Optics Inc. won an order worth NIS 7.9 million from US company for the supply of integrated optic components. The order will be delivered through August 2007.

The company said the contract was a follow-on to an order worth NIS 19 million, and that it may receive further orders worth a total of NIS 10 million in 2007-2008.
