2.7% deflation in September-November

Deflation, excluding housing was 1.5% in September-November.

Israel had 2.7% deflation in September-November 2006, after 1.5% deflation in June-August, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported today. Deflation, excluding housing was 1.5% in September-November, after 0.8% deflation in June-August.

Basic inflation (the Consumer Price Index (CPI) excluding housing and fruits and vegetables) was minus 1.1% in September-November.
