UBS emerging markets portfolio also includes Bank Hapoalim and Partner.
UBS Investment Bank today released an updated survey of emerging markets for 2007, including Israel. The survey does not rank countries, but outlines the market situation ahead of 2007 and indicates the leading shares in each market.
UBS' emerging markets portfolio includes Bank Hapoalim (LSE: BKHD; TASE: POLI) and Partner Communications (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR; LSE:PCCD) as well as Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG), whose share is in UBS' list of top 10 emerging market shares.
In UBS' previous survey on the Israeli economy, in October, Israel was ranked 6th out of 20 emerging markets, with a rating of "Outperform". That survey included Hapoalim, Delek Group and Israel Chemicals (TASE: CHIM).
