The shekel was traded at 4.194 against the US dollar in early trading today. The shekel-euro rate has risen slightly.
The representative shekel-dollar exchange rate has fallen for seven consecutive days. Yesterday, the representative rate was set at exactly 4.20, a level not seen for five years. After the representative rate was fixed, the exchange rate continued to drop in inter-bank trading yesterday.
In early trading this morning, the shekel-dollar rate is down a further 0.14%, at 4.1943. The shekel-euro rate however has risen slightly, by about 0.1%, and is currently at 5.582. Yesterday, the representative shekel-euro rate was set at 5.577, 0.93% below Tuesday's arte.
