The minister said the licensing would allow consumers to benefit from low-cost fixed line telephony options.
Minister of Communications Ariel Atias has announced that the ministry will issue VoIP licensing guidelines in 30 days. He made the statement at a conference of “Anashim VeMehashvim” (People and Computers).
Atias said the licensing would allow consumers to benefit from low-cost fixed line telephony options. “I intend to make inland telephony services user-friendly, cheap, and of high quality for consumers,” he said.
