Transtech to sell control software to Frankfurt Airport

The company will sell ground radar systems for NIS 6 million.

Airport visual navigation aids developer Transtech Control Ltd. has signed a NIS 6 million contract with Frankfurt Hahn Airport. Transtech won a tender by Fraport AG (XETRA:FRA), the airport owner and operator.

Frankfurt-Hahn Airport will buy Transtech’s CAMS system to provide full coverage of runways and airport parking areas. CAMS provides ground control, giving air traffic controllers and operations staff the means to monitor developments on the ground. The airport is required to install ground radar because frequent poor weather affects visibility.
