Washington embassy launches website for selling Israeli companies' products

The embassy website is available free of charge to all Israel companies, of all sizes, and in all fields.

The Israeli embassy in Washington has launched a unique initiative: The Israeli Partnership, an Internet site for direct marketing of Israeli companies' products to US consumers.

Minister for Economic Affairs at the Israel Embassy in Washington Boaz Raday told "Globes" that the web site has special significance at a time when efforts are being made to harm Israel's economy, particularly in certain European countries. He emphasized that the site was designed to help Israeli companies, both small and large, to penetrate a large market of potential customers motivated to buy from Israel.

Raday said the Internet site would be available free of charge to all Israel companies, of all sizes, and in all fields. There are only two requirements: the company must operate an English-language site and it must be able to conduct e-commerce. "Any company meeting these criteria is invited to join the site at state expense," Raday added.

"We're waiting for companies," Raday continued. "All a company has to do is send the embassy an e-mail or fax with the relevant information, and we guarantee it will be on the site in less than a week."
