Netex (Net Express) Ltd. (TASE:NTX) has signed an memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a Turkish company to set up a joint venture that will provide a Turkish-language version of Netex's customized online and cellular advertising services. The services will be provided both directly to surfers and via cooperation agreements with local Internet service providers and portals.
Netex's systems enable service providers to offer advanced search solutions that can understand the searcher's intent and to find websites without typing in the complete address..
Netex CEO Aviv Refuah said, "Netex today took a major step forward in replicating its success in Israel and other countries. We focused on the Turkish market in recent months because of the great potential of its 26 million surfers and rapid growth."
